We work alongside interior designers, architects, workrooms and estate professionals as a resource for the continued care of custom drapery and fine interior textiles after an installation is complete.
Our role is to understand what was specified, how it was constructed and how it was intended to present, bringing that context forward when the textile eventually requires care.
Some installations are intended to remain in place. Floor-to-ceiling drapery, motorized systems, architectural window treatments and complex custom installations can often be cared for within the interior.
Our on-site work allows these textiles to receive considered care without unnecessary removal, while respecting the construction, installation and surrounding interior.
Some textiles require a more controlled environment and a greater level of intervention.
Custom drapery is carefully documented, removed and transported for off-site conservation, where treatment can be carried out with greater access to the textile and its construction.
Following treatment and finishing, each piece is professionally reinstalled with attention to its original presentation within the interior.
