We work with silk, linen, cotton, wool, velvet, performance fabrics, hand-painted, embroidered textiles, intricate trims, passementerie and complex custom constructions.
These are the textiles most services will not take on, that owners and designers struggle to entrust to anyone. They are our specialty, so every textile in the room can be cared for by one team.

Every project is completed either on-site or off-site, based on the textile’s condition and the work it requires. On-site work is done in the room where the drapery hangs, with the installation left in place and the home undisturbed.
Off-site work is for pieces that need more extensive treatment, and we handle every step. Each panel is documented, picked up, treated in a controlled environment, steam finished and reinstalled to hang as it was designed.
Minor repairs, including loose hems and hardware adjustments, are completed as part of the project. From the first evaluation to completion, every step is tracked and shared with you, and with your designer, when one is involved.

Once an evaluation is scheduled, we begin with the textile in its setting.
We examine the fabric, construction, lining, condition, installation, height and structural integrity before determining the appropriate approach to care.
Following evaluation, we develop a treatment plan specific to the textile. Each recommendation considers its construction, condition and finish, with the goal of maintaining both textile integrity and intended presentation.
Most care is performed on-site, with attention to the condition, finish and presentation of each textile.
Pieces requiring greater intervention are carefully removed for controlled off-site treatment and professional reinstallation.
A care record is maintained for your textiles, allowing us to follow their treatment history and advise when future care may be appropriate.
